Le Pain Quotidien

Brunch!

Service is slow, but I've got a book and nothing I have to do, only things I want to do, so I'm savoring my first meal of the day.

Le menu:
- Zucchini and goat cheese frittata with mesclun salad
- Belgian hot chocolate (which they serve as steamed milk with a side of dark chocolate syrup so you can mix it to your liking)
- and, of course, a pain au chocolate for dessert

Now if you'll excuse me, my book is calling. :)

  1. So, I'm sitting here in an empty office for 8 hours today working all by myself because everyone else went skiing. I volunteered to stay behind and be office coverage because I can't ski anyway. And I'm really really really hoping you post a lot today to help keep me entertained. :) I'm so glad you're on spring break. :)

    For me, "to your liking" equals ALL the chocolate syrup.
    Can you adjust to eating without Natasha's cat hair? Silly question.
